I wonder how a person can spot whether a pastor is a false pastor or not. I guess maybe the only way I would know would be to check everything he says to make sure it is in the scriptures. What do you think?

Pastors of denominations are false pastors. That is one way I tell.

Study the Scriptures, ask God for wisdom. Jesus is the True Shepherd and all who ask you to focus an anything but Jesus is not real. If we study the real thing long enough, we will recognize the false when it appears.
